Companion Congregation

St Paul's has entered into an exciting new relationship as a Companion Congregation with the Ickongosi Lutheran parish in Mafinga, Tanzania. The parish has 500 members scattered in seven different preaching points. There is an article at the Welcome Center with more information. Gayle and Bruce Henderson have agreed to chair this exciting new project. Keep your eyes and ears open for more opportunities involving this new project.

Companion Congregation Opportunity

Lines of communication with the congregation at Ikongosi are difficult without some personal contact. A few years ago Bruce and Gail Henderson visited Ikongosi and found it to be a very rewarding experince. We've recently learned Southern Diocese is leading a group to visit Tanzania in July of 2017. It will be a 3 week trip. The "Companion Congregation" committee is hoping a couple of people from St Paul's will be interested in going with this group. The trip would include a visit to our companion congregation in Ikongosi and of course an "African Safari." If you are interested in this "once in a lifetime" trip, contact Pastor Grant or Bruce or Gail Henderson.
